The similar occurrence link is used to link reports that are of a similar nature or of interest and is for information purposes only.

It enables a user quick access to other reports that the Occurrence Manager has linked to the report being viewed.

There is no form of validation performed when this type of link is added, any report can be linked to any other report using Similar Occurrence.
